My wife thinks we might have a slow propane leak. How did you find a slow leak? Soapy water on connections?

Cheap Way:
Mix 15 parts water and one part liquid dishwashing detergent in a bowl. Apply the solution to gas lines and fittings with a small paintbrush and watch for bubbles. If bubbling occurs, there is a propane gas leak.

Expensive Way
