I have already unzipped my file...but, if I remember correctly...if you open the file on the computer you downloaded it to..

here are instructions for firmware update...remember to use a usb or sd which has no other files on it.

OK when you go to download the file..at the botom of the blue box it asks you to DECOMPRESS FILE .. do that before saving to your desktop folder..

One of the files, I believe is an MCU file and cannot be unzipped using programs such as microsoft or winzip. You will need a program such as 7Zip to unzip that file.

I downloaded to computer and followed the instructions.... Unzip 1st file to thumb drive... Apply the update at the radio. Delete files from thumb drive.... Unzip remaining file to thumb drive. Apply at radio.

Thanks for all of the help. I was just told by Best Buy's Geek Squad that there is a virus on one of these files and that is causing my problem.

I guess I will just try my phone Bluetooth with my Garmin 760 GPS. Maybe better luck.
