Angry Connect Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus to Axxera TV

Though this doesn't pertain to my specific motorhome, I have a Thor Freedom Elite 26HE with an Axerra 30-AXT40LED tv installed.

I am trying to connect my phone to my Axxera 40" LED TV. In the manual it says that I can do this. I have an hdmi and an adapter that fits my phone (Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus).

When I go to the proper source on the TV it doesn't seem like my phone recognizes the TV.

I can connect my Chromebook with the cables, so the cables are working. I'm wondering if there is a problem with my phone connecting to the TV.

My manual says I should be able to connect a smart phone.

Help please.

Thanks,

Brian

Some adapters are ONE WAY.
you need a phone to hdmi cable.
Mine works fine on an axxera TV.
Not all phones will output through their hdmi/USB port.
(I know you've addressed some of these, but they're for others who might be failing at this)

There's about six different combinations of incompatability, but the TV is the only thing that doesn't care. Input is input to an axxera. If you want to check the TV anyway, plug something else into all input hdmi slots and make sure your slot is good.
And
Try your phone and cable on one of your other brand tv's.

The link is the USBc cable I use. It might not fit your phone, but it will fit someone's
USBc

I also have (Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus). Next time you are in Best Buy or Big Box Stores, have someone connect you to a SAMSUNG TV. WIRELESS. Be careful you might be walking out the store with one...... One of the inputs on the TV. is your phone.

Thanks for the info. I feel like you do regarding my issues. What bothers me is that the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus is brand new and shouldn't have any trouble with the connection. I check things out.
Thanks,
Brian

Just be aware you won’t be able to stream Hulu or Netflix to your TV due to copy protection protocols that way.

Yes you can, I do it all the time with a PC to an HDMI connection on my TV. The TV is just another monitor to the PC or phone.

iPhone screen mirroring
Use an Apple Lightening to Digital AV Adapter (Amazon has a good selection of them)

I plug it into my Axxera TV
It usually works great, although a little fuzzy

Sometimes I have to re-boot my phone to get it started,
But generally works fine watching most cable channels via my iPhone ATT U-Verse app
