First electric motorhome to debut 2019?

It was just a matter of time. Not for most buyers, but a first step.

It'll do really well in Europe.

Well a range of 124 miles with a CCS/fast charge rate of only 50 kW is rather limiting.

Even the article kind of says "We're hoping for higher capacity batteries for the same volume/weight".

Agree — not very practical for most buyers. I had also noticed limited battery capacity comment, and found it odd that it referred to weight instead of cost. This makes me think battery capacity is limited more by European 3,500 kg vehicle class than adding more cost to extend range by installing larger battery.

Since we are more travelers than campers, this type of MH certainly doesn’t come close to meeting our needs. It’s a nice idea though — maybe with a range extender ..... ?
Regardless, I’m glad to see the effort in that direction.

Battery capacity & charging capability: both need some serious work...

\But it IS a start!
