How "Level" Does The Rig Need To Be?

... In order to get the RV style refrigerator to work reasonably well?
I had mine up on it's levelers all Summer, and it was about .9 degrees from level (Front to Rear), and about .4 degrees off from Side to Side...
So I dropped it down today, drove it around a bit, and re-parked it.
.7 degrees off from Front to Rear, and 1.1 degrees off from Side to Side...

Is that "close enough for Government work?"?

Digital level eh? Boy! I'm not that high tech. Using "lego blocks" I shoot for half a bubble or less in both X and Y axis. Usually have to turn the fridge down to 3 to keep milk from freezing. I'll bet 1.1 degrees should be just fine.

Thanks!
I'm actually surprised that it's sitting pretty darn well out there; without any help from the "Lippert Quadruplets".

We drove up to Big Foot in White Pigeon, MI Friday. (About 45 minutes) Their sale is still going on! Trying to get DW sold on getting a system installed.

Good luck: tell her that it'll allow her to enjoy camping much more!

Just remind her that she "Really" doesn't want to be outside throwing the Leggo's in the wind and rain...as you jockey back and forth ,on and off the ramped leggos....trying to get level......

i make sure the water goes down the shower drain with no major puddle in shower floor, levels are great but 2cups of water tells the story

I think its 3 degrees one way and 6 degrees the other but since I don't know I'll call it 3 degrees

I have a Level Mate Pro installed in our RV. It doesn't show you degrees, however, but how high each corner must be raised. Makes it quite easy.

If you define front/back and side to side as your motorhome directions then it's 3 degrees front to back and 6 degrees side to side.

There are tons of bubble level apps. I set my phone on the kitchen counter, then compare to the read out on the Lippert system in the ws31. I also installed a T level on the ceiling above the control panel. Here's a good looking one. I think I'll try it, too.

Have your DW lay on the bed. If the blood runs to her head you need to re-level!

That 3 degrees front to back and 6 degrees side to side is correct for the refrigerator. For me being even slightly out of level, bothers me, which is why I added the HWH levelers. Had them before, thought I could get by without them on the short wheelbase Gemini, but really missed them.

A wise man once told me. “You don’t need hydraulic levelers, but once you have them you will always want them.”

In my case he was correct.

Just walk through the coach...your brain gyro will tell you if it feels level. As stated above...drain features such as shower and 1/2 bath opposite the black tank side will dictate. The normal for me is a slight tad listing to the driver side.

I usually try to level the RV to better than a couple of degrees for the usual 3 night stay. Longer stays I might try a little harder.

My wife likes her head a little higher than her feet when she sleeps so I raised the top of our bed a couple of inches.

Got DW to approve the purchase! Locked in the sale price with a down payment prior to 10-1, installation scheduled for the first of the year. Since she sleeps in the bunk the idea of the coach not swaying when you walk around finally sold her.

Leveling

How do you technically level an RV or motor home as far as how do you check where it is level.and with what.
