Nope: Sirius/XM is not required for navigation.

I put one of those in my coach. What are you trying to get it to do? Navigation? Is the SD card in?

Well it should come with one already in the radio. If it isn't there the nav function won't work. In addition I don't think you can just go buy an SD card and put it in--has to be the one that came with the unit.

(Was just asking since you purchased it used--you don't know what the previous owner did.)
