leveling a 2017 challenger

I have a 2017 challenger LX 37. When leveling they say you should level first then extend the slides. When I do the drivers side full body slide seems to cause the level to offset. Is it OK to extend the slides then level with the auto level system....thank M

Level with the drivers side slightly higher (You can do this by using the auto level then bring up the drivers side slightly and then reset that to the auto level position).

This way you can still level before extending the slide and you'll still be level after extending the slide.

Just something to consider... Being perfectly level side to side may cause more issues with your black water holding tank building up below your toilet.

How far off is the level after extending the slide? It might not be enough to matter.

If concerned, find a level area in a parking lot or driveway. Level and then manually add a little extra height on the driver's side, then set the level point of the leveling system (read the leveling system's manual for the procedures). After doing this you should be able to extend the slide and the coach should then be level.

It might take a couple of attempts to get it the way you want but it can be done.
