Might this be a problem?

On our way back from S.D. in our Thor A.C.E. 30.2, I noticed a strip of rubber at the top of the windshield that I hadn't noticed before. It seemed to be some type of....well, Hell, I don't know. It seems to have separated from either the windshield or was always like that. Any thoughts?

I cannot say for sure, as we have an Axis...but, we do know, having had our windshield replaced, that the outer black strip around the windshield is critical..the sucker will leak like a sieve if that piece is not in place properly ! This may or may not be the case with your windshield...if it were us, we would have it checked by a glass specialist. In our situation, after the install of the new glass...the sealant did not attach properly, to the outside rubber strip....unknown to us...we were caught in a rain storm a couple days later and had a waterfall up front !
Our glass company had us come right in and fixed the problem.

If its the piece I am thinking about, my 29.3 ACE had the same problem. When CW did other stuff they just regluded it. The piece is more of a noise barrier than anything. At least mine was not a piece holding the windshield in. But again if unsure check with a glass place.
