Hello,

We have a Hurricane 29M and was wondering if it's normal when we remove the house battery the Axxera radio does not work any more ?

Thank you in advance for response.

Yes, it's normal. The radio operates off the house battery/ies so that you can listen to it without turning the key on.

Thanks for the information. I was wondering what to do when you remove the battery in winter time. You have no back camera and no radio.

Appreciate your input.

A discharged lead acid battery freezes at -15f+-(15 below zero)
A charged battery at -100f+-(100 below zero)

Why do you remove the batteries in the coach but not the chassis?

And
The power lead can be moved very easily by any car stereo shop if you want it to run from cab power.

We start our Motorhome at leat one a month to get the fluid going and when the wheater allows we take for a ride, so it does not stand at same place for all winter.

We have done this in the past for our second vehicule and it worked out.

Thank your in advance for your input.

Should have gotten some in the black bag with the owner's manuals. Mine were in a plastic bag that had a few screws and misc cables.

Two butter knives and a YouTube video are all you need.
But
What's the plan once you get it out?
There's a lot to know.
