No power unless plugged in

I have a 2017 Freedom Elite 22fe. I believe we had a power surge when my father plugged in recently with the power on the post on. I will be purchasing a surge protector. Any recommendations? Microwave seems to be done. Oh well, that can be replaced. However, when I unplugged a week later, no power to anything. The battery has power. The breakers are all in on position. The fuses appear ok. Is there a separate master breaker or connect to the battery other than what is located at the foot of the bed? Is there something else I am
missing?? TIA.

it could also be your ATS(auto transfer switch) with a loose wire.... find it, open it up while no shore power or generator, and check each screw connection.

you can also check the connections within your Main Panel, for the main wire coming into each breaker...

I doubt it was any 'power surge', as any RV is built to receive the power no matter when it 'occurs', whether the breaker is already 'on', or when you 'flip it on', etc.

The batteries normally will be charged by the converter anytime you are powered from the generator or plugged into campground power. That is assuming that the converter is operating correctly, and that no 12-volt circuit breaker between the batteries and the converter is tripped, and that the USE/STORE switch is in USE or the MASTER switch is ON.
Check the switch

We had the infamous TRANSFER SWITCH LOOSE WIRE. Was the first major issue we had with our coach. Lucky it didn't burn out the AIR CONDITIONER (since it was not getting good power) and lucky it didn't burn up the coach since the wires arced and melted the wire nuts and wires themselves. Did learn A LOT about our VEGAS since we had to search the whole coach looking for the transfer switch...

Years ago when generator equipped TT,s and 5th wheels came out it was fairly common to have poorly torqued electrical wiring at the terminals

Good thing to check

Apparently coffee break must occur mid job
