Onan Generator connection

Hi all,

Just a curiosity question:

On my old Winnebago View, I had to connect the generator to the motor home with a cable.

Is the generator connected to the motorhome automatically with my Hurricane?

Is the Genny built into the coach?
If so, is it wired through a transfer relay, like a Furrion auto transfer switch.

If the above are true, it is wired into the coach. Once you start it and it stabilizes, it should come online and begin powering your couch.

The transfer relay will switch the coach automatically from shore power to generator power when both are connected. There should only be one source of AC power into the coach at one time, either shore power, Genny or an Inverter. No two AC power sources should ever be powering your coach!
