Cool Connector for lights of tow vehicle

Hi Everyone!
My electrical connector is not working. Is there a fuse that is part of the system in my 2014 Thor Vegas? I bought a tester for the 7 prong connector and the connector failed to light up on the tester for brake lights and blinker signal. My electrical connector, tow hitch and electrical hook up to my Saturn were installed by a professional in 2016 and were working fine till now.

Thank you for any advice!

Sounds like you have the same problem as my GF who had her towing connection installed by a pro.

I traced her power source back to the battery and found a fuse block there. Therein was a blown fuse. Put in a new fuse and GF is a happy camper.

AND I showed her what and where I fixed things in case it happens again and I'm not around.

Yep the fuses for the tow electrical connector are in the main Ford fuse box in the engine compartment. Your Ford owners manual will show the fuse locations in the box.

Thank you Beau388 and Calman. I took myThor to Ford dealer and they found a fuse had blown inside the electrical receptor (where car plug wires connector hooks up).

The tester shows that it's working. However, when I hooked up the electrical from my Saturn, only the driver's side blinker and brake lights work on the Saturn. Do you guys have any advice? Could there be a blown fuse in the Saturn?

Thanks!

So frustrated!

Rosie
