Headlight blowing fuse
Has anyone ran into fuse issues with headlights? On 2017 Vegas, going from brights to dims, we blow a fuse and lose our passenger side dim headlight. This started after Gander/CW attempted to fix some issues with the camera display. They say it is a Ford issue because it's in the chassis. Ford says its a Thor issue because it's in the house wiring. No one will touch it. We are out of warranty at 43k miles. Any suggestions?

Almost majority of the user feel that its happened for headlight purpose. would like to suggest you all no need to remove the headlights, just inspect the wires leading to the bulbs for worn thru or out of order wires.

Beau will be here soon to set you straight but in the meantime:
Where is the location of the fuse you're replacing?
If Beau doesn't show up here, take it to an independant professional, not some cure all Ford tech or cw plumber this morning, electrician this afternoon.
If you're out of warranty I don't know who or how Ford or Thor is being blamed and finger-pointing.
Go get it fixed at an electrical shop. No one out of warranty would care Ford or Thor.
Any radio install place, let alone a real automotive electrical shop will have you in and out in under an hour of labor.
Please take the same advice when you have dash air troubles.

On my old ACE (not sure if your coach is similar though), there are two 10 amp fuses in the fuse panel near the driver’s foot, that feed the low beam headlights (one for left side #31 and one for right side #25). Maybe your right side low beam head light feed wire (from fuse to low beam lamp) is accidentally grounded so when power is applied to both low beam lamp fuses, only the one right side 10 amp fuse blows? I "suspect" the power feed to the two 10 amp low beam fuses comes through the dash light switch and multi-function switch on the steering column.
So you will have to confirm if that accidental grounding is the problem and track it down. If work was done recently on your coach and it came home with this problem it is possible that the recent work has caused this problem.....but you don't really know that for sure. If you know where they were working, it might be a good place to start looking though.

The fuse is under dash. It's not Blame really as they won't even work on it. Gander/CW had it before warranty went out in May, that was when problem started. While on that trip we went out of warranty. They are not even responding to questions about what all they worked on so we may find the problem. Replaced headlights to make sure that not the issue. Thor/CW when asked say all light/fuse issues are ford. At ford dealer, they ran diagnostics, said it was fuse related to RV wiring, replaced fuse and said can't do more. One independent place won't touch it. Other said diagnostics will start at over $1000. Before doing that, we thought to ask on here to see if anyone had similar issues so we may have a direction to start in.

Well I can only find an old 2004 Ford F53 headlight circuit if that helps you visualize things. While it probably does not represent your specific coach wiring exactly, it does give you an idea of a typical headlight schematic. The section A wiring is the high beam connection(s) and B wiring is the low beam connection(s). If the 10 amp fuse (top right side) is blowing on passenger (right side) then per my previous entry I would look for a short to ground (low beam feed wire pulled tight on a sharp metal chassis edge somewhere for example) between the fuse that blows and the specific low beam lamp connector. Easier said than done of course. You could also try a mobile RV tech.
