Some kinks w used 2016 Axis - night shade, tv sound

Picked up our new-to-us rig and are driving it home. So far, we are amazed with all the space and features after camping in a 2000 21' Chinook for 3 yrs. Having a couple issues though - most serious is night shade quit working last night. Fortunately we had a spare blanket and tucked it over the bunk to hang down. We did buy a 90 day extended warranty so hopefully it's covered. No motor sound when we press the button but it had been working. Seems odd that the motor would just cut out but we did not see a fuse for the night shade.

Less serious but annoying is how to get tv sound in bedroom. I can't find the secret controls. We have no remote or manual for the Jensen radio but if there's an easy fix I'd appreciate it.

This forum is great and I really am grateful for all the expertise!

The night shade is connected to the ignition: it only drops about 1/2 way when the ignition is on. Did you have the ignition on? If not it is possible there is a short in that circuit (and nothing really wrong with the shade). In addition, it could have lost its programming and thus just thought it was at its limit.

Congratulations on your new to you coach.

We found another gfci that we had to reset and the shade and blower are now working but we aren't sure why it tripped. It's all a learning experience, right?

We finally figured out the power issues (night shade, dim lights and no blower for ac). We had one bad house battery so tested and then replaced them both and everything is working great now (knock on wood).
