the top left is the house battery disconnect. You turn it off when you are storing the rv .A great way to check it is press it when you have the kitchen lights on and they will go off.Make sure that the switch is on all the other time when not storing or you will get error codes when you try to drive the coach. enjoy your beautiful coach

if it clicks in the back it is probably your coach power switch...toggle it one way and the lights should work when not on sjhore power...toggle it the other way and nothing works when disconnected from shore power.

I just got the Thor ACE. One of the black switches inside the door on the left on mine either activates or deactivates the electronic steps that go in and out when my door is opened and closed. That way you can leave the steps in one position while you're loading/unloading etc. Hope this helps

I have a 37KT. Your last switch is the power shut-off switch to disconnect all power for storage. Thats the clicking sound you hear.
I found I have to close the screen door (only) to get the stairs to retract, then reach thru the slide to turn off the power disconnect before closing the exterior door.
It's odd that all of them are unlabeled. The only 2 I have without labels are for the front and the rear overhead light sets.

I continue to be amazed at the poor design and workmanship that many RVs seem to have. I mean something simple like not labeling switches is ridiculous. Yea, my RV has a few of those "mystery" switches as well.

How much would it cost to label the switches at the factory... $0.29 cents?

I think that rocker switch is your main cut-off. You will notice that your back up camera won't work in one position.

I thought I was going to lose my mind trying to figure out how to turn off the power and close the steps. Your post helped keep my sanity. (so simple, yet so complicated...LOL) THANKS

Yep. Agreed..... One of the many things on my "post buy" punch list. Really quite amazing.

Mine has the following
battery disconnect
awning
porch light
house lights

Yep
so I asked my 6 YO daughter for a sticker to put on the light switch, she produced a sticker in short order that has some thickness.... just a little square approx 1/16"thick...... so we put it on the "On" side of the main cabin light switch so now all we have to do is feel for the sticker and push it!

I plan to get a small drawer pull or something to "guard" the awning switch to protect that one form too many errant pushes.

This is a design area where Thor could realy improve!!!!

Sounds like the battery disconnect.

You won't do any damage by pushing switches unless for example you are pushing retract on the awning and the awning is already retracted. But even then, if you only momentarily push the switch, no damage will be done (unless you keep pushing it).

I swung into CW a few days back for something. They had some "open house" units set up in the parking lot. One was a Winebago (Itasca, I believe)
I was impressed that every switch was labeled, and it wasn't some cheesy looking engraved plate or after thought looking thing. They were nicely silk screened (or something similar).
Set me to thinking.... One of these days I'm going to pop into and arts and crafts and hobby store and see if I can find some nice letter templates, maybe 1/4 in or 5/16 in letters. That, aong with some masking and a can of that spray paint for plastic might do a nice job of lableing..... or better still some nice durable stick on white letters that same size.

If you are looking to do some nice panels, I have had many panels made by a small design shop called "Front Panel Express". I have no association with them, other than a customer (Front Panel Express:Â*Front Panel Design Software and CAD Conversion Service).

The way it works is you download a panel design software and create your panel, sizing it and labeling switches, or whatever else you want to add. Then in about a week, they send you your custom panel.

The nice thing is they have an order quantity of one.

However, you have to do a little research to get the panel designed properly. For example, you will need to find the spec sheet for the switches you are using, as there will typically be a recommended cut out dimensions for panel mounting.

But here is the result:

I had this panel created for my RV's antenna amp and coax switch box so I could turn off all 12V power for boondocking purposes. Not including the switches, the panel itself cost about $24.

There is another place that will do panels a bit cheaper (10-20%), but I have not tried them. hey have changed their name a couple of times, and even though it is a German website, they do have a US operation (Front panel, custom faceplates, cnc milled metal | FrontPanelExpert) so that might be another avenue.

sumrzz, the third switch on our '15 Miramar is for the LED lights in the awning. You can't see the lights until you extend the awning. Just a thought.

I bet it is the switch for the awning lights - roll out your awning and see it will turn on and off the LED lights. It is on my 34 J Hurricane!

Yep

On our first trip out, I asked my 6YO daughter for a sticker to put on the light switch. She produced a little yellow square sticker, that has some thickness.... maybe 1 to 2 mm or so thick.... It's great!. I put it on the "on" side of the switch

now in the dark, we can just feel for the sticker and push it!

Switch

If it's clicking on/off then it is your battery disconnect. Look on your radio...your clock should go off if its the disconnect. At least it does on mine. (2014 Miramar)
