System shutdown ?

We're down to darlington and had the air on all night using the generator, this morning I turned on the second AC and my inverter panel started beeping and said "system shutdown", turned off the air and shut off the inverter. Called the dealer, the said generator was too small, it's a 5500. Called Thor, they said the generator should run everything minus the microwave at the same time. Came in and tried it again, now it's fine , anyone had this issue before ?
