Thor 30FE Antenna amplifier

Anybody got a clue where I might find the antenna amplifier on my 30FE? I have not found a standard one like I’ve had on every RV I’ve owned in the past, where there was a little button and a green led indicating that the amp was on.

The amplifier is in the antenna. What you are looking for is the 12 VDC Power Injector which supplies power to the amplifier.

The problem is that I can’t locate how to kill the power to it. No switch, no fuse, etc.

I looked in my 30FE, and found the switch you are looking for in the forward r/h overhead cabinet. The switch is on the plate where the TV coax plugs into. It’s outboard of the coax and hard to see.

Thanks. I’ll try there in the AM. Looked there earlier. But there is a tangle of wires from the DVD that may have hidden it.

LandKO - You were correct. Found the magic button. They hid it very well, and didn’t make it any easier by not having a LED.
But only 50% successful. Auto scan found zero cable channels. I suspect I have a bad cable. It’s about 30 years old, so I guess it’s time to replace it.

Green light for using the antenna - no green light for cable. I sent Thor Customer Service a schematic for the system in my 33SW Super C. It has 3 TVs - 2 inside, 1 outside. If you write to Teena in Customer Support, she can send it to you if you are interested.

No green light on that coax plate. Just the well hidden button.
Ran auto scan and still got no signal, so headed to WallyWorld for a new cable. Installed that, still zero.
Had the campground send a technician out. lo and behold — outlet on the power pole was dead. He located another outlet on a supposedly unusable power pole. BINGO!! Auto scan found 70-some channels.

Thanks for the support, y’all. Much appreciated!
