Totally agree with your assessment of Camping World, especially Gary's RV in Chichester, NH. Only interested in selling, after the sale service and support is not there!! If you are in NH, I would strongly check out Coldsprings RV in Weare NH. They just became a Thor dealer and are now going to take care of my warranty repair items. Great folks to work with. I would even spend more just to give them my business.

I finally discovered the drain for the fresh water tank 2017 Thor 29.4.
Remove bedroom left side drawer. Very small plastic levers inside the drawer slide rails. Valve was hidden under a large coil of wires inside a large "loom" of wires. need flashlight and long arm. Blue pipe, at the base of tank - about where you'd expect a drain to be. Could be "under" some foam insulation. 1/4 turn to open. Drains out underneath near the propane line for external BBQ grill.
