Toilet Repair Spring

2017 Thor ACE 30.3
So I went to flush my toilet and my foot slipped off the lever which sprung up and fell apart with the spring coming out. I figured out how to put the lever back on, but could not get the spring inserted.... thus I have to push down and pull up the toilet flush lever. Not a big deal, but I would like to get the spring back in there.

I took it to Camping World and they said that I likely would have to buy a new toilet...that they can't get the spring back in. This sounds a bit extreme to me, and expensive. Any thoughts from anyone who has had a similar problem?

Thanks a bunch for any help you can give me

I suspect you have a Thetford Aqua Magic Style II. I suggest you contact the manufacture's support for how to repair the toilet.
