John & Kerri,

I am interested in how you arranged the batteries. 2 rows of 2? Long axis parallel or perpendicular to the chassis frame? 3 in a row with 1 on the side? Did u have to modify anything?

Thanx

We had the dealer do it as part of the purchase. There were 2 batteries originally and thery removed and replaced them and added two more in a row in the back. I will take a picture for you when we get back to the coach to show you.

Our runtimes are easily overnight, with full recharging on sunny days by noon, later for cloudy days. We still have to use the genset for AC and microwave. Pretty much everything else is covered.

Thanks. Appreciate a photo. I run the microwave off the inverter for short cook times. I read somewhere it was better to do that than running the genset for a few minutes.

Plenty of room on the battery tray, the dealer added one to the front row and one in back. All are wired to the buss in the back frame.

Nice photos!!! Good info. Thanks for posting. I was thinking of using 4 group 24's. I want to arrange them on a slide out tray. This would make servicing the batteries easier.
