Tom also responded to an email that I sent to him regarding the forum late last week. His response was that he hoped to have the forum up and running yesterday. I wish he would just say what the actual problem with getting the forum back on line is and then get it fixed.

..harley from southern Ontario here. got my unit on Sept 28,used it once ,now in garage storage for the winter. Found this site from RVNet.
Hope we get some good tips on mods and issues that can be easily remedied.

Not likely. I founded my first forum over a decade ago for Airstream Trailer Owners and it's still going strong. The biggest issue for a forum owned and operated by a manufacturer is trying to manage the community while not letting a conflict of interest get in the way. It's a fine line and all too often a few complaints escalate and the manufacturer doesn't know if the forum is an asset or liability.

Having been managing online forums for many years, we understand that owners need a neutral place to chat while at the same time things need to remain factual and positive since most of the members are fans of the brand.

Thor Forums will remain online and continue as a FREE resource for all Thor product owners for many many years. We hope you all will find this community welcoming and help us build this into the amazing resource it can be.

Andy R, thanks for the forum info. I too hope this can become a place where ideas and info can be shared. Right now many Crossroads owners are feeling lost and abandoned. Hope this site will give us a chance to start anew.

I'm not willing to leave everything behind. There was a lot of good "stuff" posted throughout the forum. I hope everything, and I mean everything will return as it was before it was "up graded".

That is fine Mark. I hope you are correct. There was certainly much to appreciate info-wise I just doubt they will open it up without rigid "censorship" on their part.

It appears to me that they are trying to duplicate the Redwood forum. Other then the missing post they look to be alike. Personally I preffered the old Crossorads forum to the Redwood forum just on looks alone.
