Camping reservations

Starting to make camping reservations for the summer. Looking at state and county parks. I have a camper that has a slideout on the drivers side of the camper has it is being towed. What does it mean when the campsite I am looking at states "Not for Right slideouts or not for left slideouts campers". What side is my slideout on?

I would say your camper has a left hand slide if it's on the drivers side.

That's odd as I've never been in a park that you couldn't slide a bit one way or the other to allow for slides... (course given the BIG state I'm in and am not in the northeast where everything is smaller )

I would call a driver's side slide a left slide. Most sites you can adjust how you park your trailer but sometimes you find a site that has trees or electric boxes or something else impeding you from doing this. I have seen sites that you have to maneuver between trees.

Yep, that's just part of camping, adjustments.

Normally the orientation is if you were sitting in the driver's seat. So the driver's side is the left side, and the front cab passenger's side is the right side.
