36FL - Great design

We have a 36FL and love the front living floor plan. It separates the living spaces giving the trailer more of a home feel. Having the living room up higher makes the view from my easy chair better too. Just my opinion of course.
We have the black/maroon full body paint and get lots of compliments everywhere we go. It's a beautiful, comfortable, well built travel home.

Steve you took the words right out of my mouth, we have the same 36FL as you except for some different options we have only been in our home now for 5 weeks and have not had any major problems we can't wait to put her on the road for a long trip out.

See ya on the road!

I just received word that my 2013 36RL will be off the line on June 21st and heading to paint shortly after. Hoping to have the new coach by early July!

That's great! I think ours got to the dealer about three weeks after they said it was going into paint. Your schedule sounds about right.

BTW where are you guys from?

I am getting more and more anxious by the day!! I'm trading in my beloved Montana 5th wheel for this new Redwood. At first I had a little buyers remorse; not so much anymore. I am a single 33 yr old guy that is currently in MN. My job relocates me every few years and I decided that full timing is a less expensive way to live considering today's current housing market. This is a new adventure for me indeed...

Enroute, sounds like a good way to go for a single guy on the move. You are always at home no matter where you are. I like your user name...we're all enroute to somewhere aren't we. I think you're going to love your new castle.

Enroute, you're going to love your new Redwood. My DW and I are always telling people how our 36FL feels like a one bedroom apartment when we're inside. It's easy to forget that you're actually living in a travel trailer.

Talking

Thanks Guys! A few folks and I were talking at the office this past week. They cannot believe that I want to live in an RV full time. They were so confused as to how this could be done and why...I opened the brochure and said take a look, this should answer all your questions. I did not have to say a word after that. Now my "soon to be new coach" is all they could talk about. They had no idea RV's could be so luxurious and loaded with amenities. Needless to say when I told them I ordered it with not only a washer & dryer, but also a dishwasher, they went nuts. Not sure who is more anxious to see it now, them or me!

I think once you step up to a Redwood you've graduated from camping to what my DW refers to as "glamping".
You'll have to excuse me now as I stretch out on the couch for a nap... watching the waves of Lake Erie roll in has made me tired. Life is good...zzz...zzz

Excited for you! Ours is in and we have started to load while warranty work and optional work is done. Final will be to have paint and inside treated with Tricote.

Let us know how you do. My first impression was it was "Gi-normous! We have the 36RL 2013. I had to twice at the coach label as the date was hand changed by factory, but the final was RW36RL13 for coding and paperwork was completed as 2013.

ENJOY! Chris & Ron

The first time I walked up to our 36FL on the lot I was thoroughly intimidated by it's size. I remember telling my wife several times that I didn't know if I had what it takes to tow the thing. After towing it 100 miles or so I discovered that it was easier to handle than our old bumper pull travel trailer and easier to back into the campsite.

That's reassuring. We've been in Motorhomes for many years and our last 5th Wheel was a 28' Montana. And, yes the Redwoods do look imposing. They're so darn tall.

Been fulltiming for a month or so in the 36FL

I agree it feels and looks like an apartment.

I always get the look when I enter a campground especially a state park(Holy cow) After its parked - people usually clap.

I have always been able to park it and I have towed it now for over 1500
to 2000 miles with a F-250 pick up.

I too seem to change jobs every few years and it fits my lifestyle.
(way to many houses have been purchased). I just wish the Redwood was made in 2005. It was what I was looking for in the industry at a price point that I could agree with and could not find in 2005.

If I want to hit an different area every weekend all I have to do is hook it up and ride.

Just left New Orleans for the weekend and landed in Texas for a while.

I hope everyone is well

We just received the call from our dealer Thursday that our 36FL came off the line and into paint last week. Delivery to the dealer is still on schedule for the 20th of this month and we pick it up the 29th of this month. We are so excited! Thanks for the link! The more info the better.

It's amazing the comments that you get from the folks you work with when you tell them that your going to sell your house and live in a RV. There first thoughts are your nutz! Then you show them a picture of the 5th wheel that is now going to be your home and they say that is nicer then my house! Then all you here is envy. And all you can do is SMILE

You are so right... I bought my first RV when I was 21 years old and have been rv'ing for the past 12 years. I love this lifestyle and have no regrets about going full time this year. I figured why wait until I retire in another 32 years?? Just because I am 33, doesn't mean that I cant enjoy the lifestyle an extra 25-30 years before I retire does it??

Unfortunately the 36FL is out of production as the website now states "Dealer Stock Only". Have heard that a new front living room floorplan is in the works. Can't wait to check it out.
