Taking a toad to Thor service center

Hello, has anyone ever taken a trailer to Thor when they have gone for service or repairs? We are thinking of taking our trailer but since they will have the rig the whole time we aren't sure about securing the trailer. Just wondering what your thoughts are and if anyone else has had to do that?

I'd call them, and see what they suggest.
How long will you be there?

Not sure. We planned for at least a week but hopefully just a few days.

Thanks

I would think that locking the latch shut would be a great first step.

I was there 2 weeks ago. I believe I saw 4-5 cargo trailers sitting in their customer parking area that has been towed up by customers getting repairs. You should be fine.

Thank you so much. We are gonna call Monday but wanted to know how it was for someone who had been recently. With COVID-19, its hard to know how things are now. The paperwork they sent us was totally different than what we were told over the phone so we are double and triple checking everything. We have very secure locks but locks can be cut or broken. We are retired military so double and triple checking everything is the norm for us. But firsthand experience is always better than what's on paper. Thanks again

Locks keep honest people honest; nothing more.

Good luck.

Locks may keep honest people honest... but a .45 ACP will keep the dishonest ones out of your yard.

We took our toad via a tow dolly without any issues. They are very accommodating and, better yet, superb technicians. They fixed every issue I had been struggling with at multiple Camping World / Thor dealerships for the first 2 years of ownership - all under warranty. They even fixed several things I didn’t know needed it. Probably saved my marriage/life as my wife was so frustrated she was ready to kill someone - and my name was at the top of the list. Very positive experience - you won’t regret it.

WOW, glad you are still among the living lol 😆 I'm not to that point yet but we are ready to roll and enjoy and with the problems we know of, that's not happening anytime soon. 3 weeks and we are heading there. Thanks for all the good reviews, we can hardly wait!!
