2015 Challenger Front Grill

I noticed that the horizontal bars on the Challenger front grill are widely spaced and was wondering if anyone has had any issues with road debris damage to the condenser or radiator?

Also has anyone tried finding some type of material or screen to make a rock guard to prevent damage from road debris?

The bars on our A. C. E. are pretty far apart also but I don't see it as a problem. My 2004 F-150 grill has holes that won't stop anything smaller than a sparrow and 112,000 miles and the radiator is fine. Jim.

Normally I wouldn't be concerned, however, when I was driving my class c up to the dealer for trade in a rock hit and chipped the windshield. Luckily the chip was small and repairable so it didn't result in a reduction of trade in value.

After searching the net I believe I can get some bulk wire mesh or billet grill material and install it for under 100.00.

I placed screen inside the grill on my 2013 Challenger. Keeps all the bugs out of the radiator, and I just brush the bugs off the screen.
