2016 thor hurricane/windsport 29m
I saw a youtube video showcasing the Hurricane 29M and I swear I saw an additional skylight just above the stove. I thought it was the normal addict fan found in the front of the coach but that one was located just in front of the A/C. Are my eyes playing tricks on me? Has anyone else seen this?

Went to Motorhome Specialist a few weeks ago and yes, there are 3 attic vents in this model, one in the living room, one above the kitchen stove and one in the bedroom...but to have the fan in these vents you will have to order them or have them installed after purchase.
Guess I am the only person looking into this model...okiedokie!!!!

I have a 29M we bought from MHSRV, seems like they order all the 29Ms with dual AC, and Fantastic Fan above stove. Vent in front center of coach does not have a fan, bathroom vent has a little fan. The fan over the stove is almost covered up when you close the slide. I plan on installing another Fantastic Fan in place of the front vent.
LOVE our 29M, perfect size for us with lots of usable storage. We did add foam topper to mattress and sleep very comfortably. My wife is vertically challenged and has a folding stool to get in bed. LOL. We have the "big rig" amenities with the smaller rig size. Just completed a trip of a little over 2000 miles, only complaint was just wishing we had more time!!!

I wish you the Best and many Happy Miles!!!
Also, MHSRV are, in my opinion, GREAT people to deal with! I would recommend MHSRV to anyone looking for a coach, they even included a nice tool kit with the coach.

I don't know about the Hurricane 29M but all vents are wired for a fan on the 31S. Just take the four screws out of the bottom valance and the two wires are there for a Fantatistic fan.

Is it also wired for a second air conditioner in bedroom? What size wires/conductors do they run, and where does it go to?

Most likely not. To have 2 a/c units the couch needs 50amp and 5500 onan. The 29m with 1 a/c is 30 amp 4000 onan

You can add a second a/c but it has to be plugged into the power pedestal with its onw 20amp cord. It can not be part of the motorhomes system

Most often so, but I'm not sure that's always the case. I've looked into this issue before and believe it can be done.
The reason I asked about prewiring is that a family member who just purchased a 31S was told by sales person that it was prewired for a second A/C in bedroom. I personally thought it was very unlikely but wouldn't count it out entirely without first checking into it. Cost for wires in ceiling and walls can't be much but manufacturers seem to save every penny they can.

Yes it can be done if the coach has 50amp and bigger gen. Youre right about saving money. The 31 is a bigger coach it might be prewired. Easy to find out by the 30 or 50 amp

My 29M came with the ceiling vent (no powered fan) in the Living Room. I purchased a MaxxAir remote controlled vent fan and Camping World - Lubbock installed it and they connected the fan to the ceiling LED lights so now if I want the fan to work I have to turn on the ceiling lights. Is there another 12v source I can use instead of the ceiling lights??? How difficult would the rewiring be????

Usually if a coach has a second AC as an option it will already be prewired for that location. If the coach doesn't have the bigger generator then you can't run the AC unless you have a separate plug to the pedestal. The coach will usually have 30 amp service and that won't run two ACs.
A second AC can be installed but it will have its own dedicated plug, don't see that very often.

My 2000 Infinity had a unique (to me) set up...
30amp rig - 2 AC's... a switch in the bedroom that let me select which AC was active on shore power. The genny was capable of running both ACs - and had a place to plug in a second 20A power source to run both from shore power.
Not sure what was original and what was add-on... I bought it used.

I don't want to hijack Dino's thread to a different subject, so will start a new one to discuss this subject separately.

The wires in my bed room vent are 16 gauge and appear to come for the right side wall area. I suspect they go to the switch area on the right side, front wall. There is an entirely different wiring harness made for the coaches with a 50 amp service. Nothing in the wiring is the same - nothing.
