2018 ace 9.3

Close friends purchased a 2018 ACE 9.3 at Camping World in Woodstock on Sunday. My DW and I will be going with them this Saturday to pickup the new RV.

Let me know if anyone has any questions about this unit and I will ask at the delivery inspection.

What's an ACE 9.3? Are we doing metric labels now?

if they purchased it Sunday, why did they not do a PDI and take it home then?

Take it for a run on the highway!
Picked up my 2018 30.2 yesterday - included a test drive - but did not go all the way to the highway. Set off for home, and as soon as I hit 60 mph, a whistle started emanating from the front area. I have since read about this issue here and elsewhere, and could be the front grill.

Great...we have a 2018 29.3 on order.....question: 2018 adverised as 'solar ready'....Does this mean there is simply a 8 or 10 gauge wire stubbed to the roof?...or is there more?, e.g. Junction/connector box on roof , solar contoller or wire stubbed for portable solar panels?.....also are there black out shades in living room area, or are they the pillow cell type?...one last question, what stock type and size batteries are standard....thanks

29.3 Pick Up and Drive Home

My DW and I went with our friends to Woodstock yesterday to pickup their 2018 29.3.

Yes, as soon as we got to 60 MPH my DW and I heard the loud whistle noise. Funny thing, our friends both have some hearing loss and did not hear it. So, I guess it is not a problem.

Regarding Solar, it is just wired for solar, nothing else.

More later...
