Ace 29.3 windshield leaks in driving rain

We found our leaked on the left side of the driver in driving rain. It actually ran down the inside into who knows where. Not a drop inside the coach. Getting on a ladder I discovered the black rubber seal did not cover the opening in front of the driver. Because of the eyebrow on the Ace, water didn't enter unless it was a driving rain or you turned the hose on it when you washed it etc. I took a picture of it and they are supposed to fix it soon. You might want to check yours.

The picture above is on top of the windshield and the gap extends from the outside towards the center of the windshield. The only way to see it is to get on a ladder. The easy way to test it is to direct a water hose in the general area. I know for a fact this isn't the only Thor that has this issue. If you don't catch it before your warranty expires you are on your own.

After climbing a ladder today, I took another look at the rubber "seal" on the drivers side. There is no way it will work. Apparently either the hole in the front cap is cut wrong or the windshield is not attached correctly. I really think everyone who has a fairly new coach should get on a ladder and check the top seal on both sides. If you wait too long, your warranty will expire. Likely they may try to put caulk in there but that will not be acceptable to me. The rubber seal is only being held there by a little friction. A simple pull and it would come out with nothing to hold it in.
