New 2014 siesta sprinter

I am working thru many fixes that keep me from traveling. But one thing has me puzzled. How do you check the air pressure on the tires when you can't get to them? My dealer will install extended valves on the tires, but it will cost for the stems and over a $100 an hour to install. My book says nothing about where to locate stems, just that I need to check air in tires. Anyone have the same problem with a siesta sprinter?

Stop by a tire store they can and more than likely put the exrensions on at a resonable rate. All they do is scrw onto the existing stem

You can get extended valves on the rear tires on Amazon ($20 for two) Amazon.com: Pacific Dualies 18101 MAX EZ Air 7" Braided Stainless Steel Valve Stem Extensions with Small EZ Wire Clip For Ford E350/E450 Dually Trucks RVs Motorhomes with 2" Round Vent Holes: Automotive
It very easy to connect them. Advise you to take off original plastic connector (you can get a loose air in that plastic - I got that problem one time).
For front tires you don't need any or you can get for 10 bucks this:
Amazon.com: Pacific Dualies 18045 45 Degree Valve Stem Extension - Set of 2: Automotive
I think it going to be more convenient to check air with this connector.

I don't think these will fit my Mercedes sprinter. On my outside tires I think the stems have to be curved as they are on the inside of the tire. They may fit the inside tire as that one is a straight out stem. Will look into it more, thanks for the info.

You can see holder on the picture. On Amazon Valve Extensions go with different kind of holder.

Thank you for sharing the pictures, I have finally given up and taken my loss on a 4 month old motorhome (20,000 loss) and will trade for a class A at twice the price and 100 times the quality, different brand. I put 3000 miles on it and 4 trips. Dealer had it more than I did, not their fault, just a problem build. I only had one more thing to fix, but I am not taking any more chances on future problems. Good luck

Sorry to hear about your troubles with Thor!! It's a shame you had to take a loss on your rig, but I think in the long run you'll be much happier. I too am contemplating getting out from under my lemon!

Good luck!!

I have extensions on mine form the factory and hate them. unfortunately I can't get a picture of them to post, it's in the shop.
The way mine are installed I can't get an angled head
TrucknTow - PCL Air Chucks
or a straight head chuck
http://www.amazon.com/Milton-S-516-S.../dp/B000YP12GC
or gauge on them at all.

The only thing I can get on them is my flexible hose straight chuck
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'll be changing them eventually.
Thinking of one of those cat's eye or similar systems
