Same here. The dealer is about 75 miles away. There is a closer store, but for now still taking it up there. I have had them order parts and then I bring it back. Another time I was able to leave it for a week and they fit it in when they could during the week.

There should be some compromise in that I would think. Distance you are going though, could be a factor too.

So did you take a bath trading it in? An Palazzo costs about twice the amount of an Ace... I know if I were to trade my Ace with only 5-6K miles I would likely take a bath on the trade in.

In a word.... No.. Loved our '99 Thor/Four Winds 34H, Went looking to replace it with another Thor product.....Did not like the shabby/sloppy /cost cutting/chintzy builds on the new coaches... So my signature tag says it all

So you never owned an Ace, right? Guess you are on the wrong forum. Imagine comparying a Foretravel Diesel with an Ace.

In a word No..

We looked at all the sub brands that Thor offered..Including the Ace....did not like the designs and/or build qualitys of anything they manufacture, also looked at Winnabago,Fleetwood,Tiffin,Monaco & others. Most use the very same lowest bid parts suppliers, so quality has suffered greatly..since the RV recession of '06-'08.

Had Thor continued to produce the same quality coach as our '99 Infinity We would have bought a new one instead of paying many times the cost for the FT.

Ace owners

Ace owners, would you buy yours again? Generally we are pretty happy with ours... just asking.
