2023 Outlaw 38KB House Batteries.

I have a class A 2023 Outlaw 38KB with 4 house batteries. I have searched for information/specifications on the installed Midwest Battery GC6V-RV. That is all the information listed on the battery's and no information on the company's website. I know that they are 6 Volt Wet Lead Acid and I would like to know what the AMP Hour Rating is. I hope someone has the answer. Thanks, Greg

Since their website has no battery info I'd just go with the GC6 standard of 225 AH. I doubt it's any higher but I wouldn't be surprised if it was lower; 215 or 205 AH.

The typical group GC-2 FLA battery is rated at 225 amp-h. I have 6 in my golf cart. With 4 you would have 900 amp-h @6 volts or 450 amp-h @12 volts. Using the 50% rule for longevity, you should have 225 amp-h in usable current before going below 12.1 volts.

That said, these are optimal conditions for new, fully charged batteries in low amperage conditions. My guess is you should be able to count on about 150 amp-h of usable current as things like the fridge motor will trip the inverter's low voltage shut-off when the batteries are 12.3 volts or lower.
