Sand or mud ... Use caution before entering either, as they can stop an RV really quick, especially with anything in tow (land anchor). Keep momentum up and pay attention!

Yes it is/was: As I typed that your name escaped me (which often happens...sigh).

Pismo Beach in our Vegas 24.1
Yes, we got stuck. But a friendly with 4x4 truck pulled us out (the local towing company charges $375 per event).

One thing I learned...
> if you decide to go on the sand, reduce the air in all your tires to 20-30 pounds

Once we did that, we seemed to roll along much better without the fear of getting stuck again

And before you go to Pismo, check the tide charts.
The main sand road is above the 5’ tide line
So any high tides lower than 5’ is an easy in and out off the beach

We were there when the highs were near 7’
That’s why we got stuck because to stay out of the water, we needed to be where the sand was too soft.

All said...there’s nothing like sleeping with the waves crashing 15-20’ from your RV

I always put bigger tires on mine....the stock tires are too small IMHO...
I get the 235 -85- 16's on aluminum rims...

one thing you will find with the vegas….the body to be narrower than most enclosed trailers... puts a big drag on the coach..and needs a lot of power to haul the trailer... we got into a big head wind and was driving with the peddle floored to keep it at travel speed...
