I have a quick question about the water and waste tanks on our new coach.

Since Thor no longer has tank heaters on certain coach lines and they "heat" from the furnace, I cant see any where in the storage areas where the heat would come out. Does anyone know where the heat outlets might be located below the floor in the storage bays?

it would actually be in the CEILING of the wet bay, but may not be able to be seen since it's probably right behind and above the wet bay 'panel'... I've never been able to find mine either.
I should be in line with the floor registers in the coach itself, as it's simply another 'register' hole, but in the ceiling of the lower bay.

I suppose you could run a test: on a cold day, take the temperature of the wet bay, then start the furnace and take another test of the temperature after several minutes.

We have a challenger so should be similar the only one that can be seen is the compartment for the rear dump valves up in the corner,if you turn the heater on for a couple of minutes then open the compartment for forward dump valves you can hear and feel the air,same with the water tank.

In each basement compartment heated there will be a 3" silver high temperature hose sticking down about 2 inches (my coach has three heated basement compartments). The water lines that cross the coach under the floor are encased in a protective heated tunnel above the gray water tank. The only place where there is a potential for freezing on my coach is the outside shower.

The heat for the bay is located in the ceiling of the wet bay behind the panel. There's about a 1-1/2" hole in the center of the bay that dumps heat when the furnace is running. I know this for a fact on the Challenger, I suspect yours is the same. Took some pics it this with my thermal cam last winter.
