Beware of falling objects.

While going down I-10 west towards Tucson Az, I went under an overpass and a truck going over it dropped something that crushed my roof. We heard the bang, but @ 3:30AM after looking over my coach, I couldn't find any damage. After we got our camp site @ Rincon West RV park, I hired their local RV washer/waxer to clean my coach. They climbed onto the roof and informed me I had major damage done to my roof. My estimate is approx 15K and I have no idea how long in the shop. It just doesn't pay to travel overnight... Hopefully we'll get it back soon. My insurance (Foremost) has been great, but now I'm worried about my insurance sky rocketing.

Once the structure is repaired have the roof done by RV Armor instead of EPDM or Alpha Ply & never worry about it again.

TT,

What is RV Armor? Is it a coating/paint or a new surface?

Doc

Looked at their video, seems like something up my alley, since I don't do heights.

The RV armor really looks like a good product, anyone have any personal experience with it?

WOW! So sorry to hear of your damage! Can't help but ask if whatever hit your roof from the overpass was imbedded? Do you have any idea what it was that fell off the truck?

Hope your repairs go smoothly and that your trip gets back on track real soon. You're in our neck of the woods! :-)
