Big window : little Privacy
we just purchased a thor fourwinds 24 FS. We haven't taken it out yet. Still learning. This is so much to learn and consider and I have 100 questions, but one I can't figure out is what do you do for privacy at night from people seeing in from the front window??There is no curtain and I can't figure out how to hang one on those little hooks and get it to stay.

Our Chateau 31W had a fabric privacy curtain with Velcro strip along top that sticks to Velcro pads above visors, door frames, and on cushioned walls beside seat backs. We found our curtain folded up in one of the storage compartments in the cab-over bunk. We also purchased a white vinyl cover that installs on the outside of the windshield and doors and use either depending on how long we are staying.

Congratulations and welcome.
Adding on to what Scott said: If you pick up an exterior windshield cover it will also help keeping the coach cool on a hot sunny day.
A cover like this one.

Welcome to the Forum, and congratulations on your new rig!
(My Missus described this process to me... )
If you put a tape measure at the bottom rear edge of one of the driving compartment windows: just work your way around to the other side of your rig.
Note that measurement, and then just measure rearward from that point, to a good "anchoring spot" in the Coach. (Remember to add in the same amount for the other side...)
Now you know the total length of the curtain...
Just add velcro to the top edge (e=just enough to keep it in place...), and you'll be good to go!

Thanks for your help.We went out and looked everywhere , thinking maybe we missed them, but they were not there. So I measured to maybe make something and we noticed small Velcro tabs around the area. We called and they said there was suppose to a curtain in there, but it's not. Well they are going to send us one... YEA

I believe dealers sometimes “borrow” items from unsold coaches for other customers and then forget to replace them. On the other hand, I’ve found Thor to be more than willing to help make things right for their customers. Glad you’re good to go now.

I'm not even sure what all we are suppose to have>>I guess I'd better find the punch list. I know there is a remote for blue ray, but I sort of thought that was part of the tv. Soooooooooooo much to learn.

If you think of it as a simple (but expensive!) savenger hunt: it sort of makes it fun!
Arm yourself with a list of all the standard features and equipment, and turn it into a running checklist; good luck!

Good Sam roadside assistance: We took a 4 month, 11k mile trip, a 3 yrs ago, and needed them 3x because our trailer had tire issues. We, on a couple occasions, were in the middle of nowhere, they pinged our cellphone and had someone there in less than 45 minutes. We used them one time a couple years later and, again, Awesome.

That's reassuring; especially since I still hope to never find this out for myself!

Peggy, how do you l like your Chateau 31W. We have a 2014 31W and our in the process of remodeling our interior. Other than that, we really like ours and get about 9 miles per gallon. Any problems you can relate?

We took the included comforter and had it cut and hemmed to cover the opening behind the cab for 20.00. Then fabric glued velcro. We use the that for quick stops while traveling. Also cuts down the amount of space we need to cool as it isolates the cab from the house. Use the front window cover for longer stays.
