New Citation purchased from Camping World

2017 Thor Chateau Citation- Horrible customer service. Fire in the coach 1st trip with electrical hookup. 12 volt control wired directly to ground from the factory. Missing paint around outside window frame among other places, LP regulator quit working 2nd day, Refrigerator never worked on LP- after camping world installed new control panel still not working I installed a new burner assy and fixed. main door sticking (wrong screws installed)- fixed myself. Outside TV never worked (no power). Back up camera never worked (vertical hold problem) Factory sent new switching assy and still not working. Sent claims to Thor 1 month ago still no reimbursement. Will never buy anything from Thor or Camping World again.

Thumbs down Dealer Issues

Sounds like its 100% on the dealer for not doing a pre delivery inspection on the coach as well as a full walk through with you before you took delivery. Camping world is notorious for this.

No matter what manufacturer builds the coach or what dealer you use, this is a notice to buyers to NEVER leave the lot without an extended checkout of EVERYTHING.

This serves two purposes. It eliminates most of the problems that essentially every new coach has and also educates the new owner on the operation. If you purchase another different coach from another different dealer, you will duplicate this experience unless you complete this essential step at delivery. A proper dealer will require it and therefore will probably actually prepare the coach.

My wife and are not impressed with Camping World's customer service at all ! We just bought a 26HE and have a couple problems and they are not in a hurry to fix our warranty issues ? They sure couldn't sell us a new coach fast enough.
