Class C battery hold down straps
I have a 2018 Chateau 31E. My original battery hold down straps broke, so I bought some nice new ones with cadmium-plated hardware and plastic clips. But after one trip the plastic clips broke and the hardware is already corroded.
Any recommendations for a battery hold-down solution that will last?

You could always buy a set of tie-down straps, wrap them around the batteries, and cut them to length...

Yeah, I was thinking of just getting some basic tie-down straps with metal buckles from Home Depot and doing that. I'm not sure how long the webbing will last. The last ones failed after about a year.

I picked up some one wrap Velcro strap, cut it to length and just wrap the battery.
If it breaks or wears out I still have more...

I guess that the key is to make sure that it's easy to replace your replacements...

A few months ago this problem came up in a thread. Someone said Wlamart sells battery hold down straps that were perfect for his use. I however glued and sewed mine back together with good success.

Take a seamstress' tape measure, or a string, wrap around the battery and the tray, note the measurement.
Buy a bag of heavy duty zip ties long enough, and snip the ends off after installing, being sure to pull them tight with pliers first!
Use wire cutters to remove, if needed, and keep the spares.

While I wouldn't hesitate to use them as a stop-gap measure: I'd be cautious about long-term usage.
I don't know how when that plastic might hold up...
