Using furnace going down the road ??

Heading to Florida from Chicago in two weeks. Its COLD here...I plan on running the furnace going down the road Anybody else do this. The only problem is most of the vents are under the slides but I've done it before and it heats up pretty good, just not sure it good to do...

I'm in Northwest Indiana same cold. I've been driving with my furnace on for 20 years always never had an issue. Have a safe trip!

I'm probably just over-thinking this issue...
How many days will you be travelling?
I would think that you'd be able to out-run the cold weather in about a day, and just use the automotive heater for that day.

I've just always been told to turn off the furnace at gas stations so the fumes from you or someone else pumping gas does not ignite.

I think the most surprising thing you'll find out while using your furnace on the road is that after your coach heats up it will hardly come on at all.
