2016 Ace Noisy Engine

Has anyone tried to sound proof the engine? If so, how did it go? How did you do it? Would you do it again? Thank you in advance.

Because the engine noise comes in from many directions it is really hard to do a whole lot. You can add soundproofing under the dog house, or carpet on top but I'm afraid it won't make much difference. I tried various methods on the Sportscoach I previously owned. The difference in sound level was negligible no matter what I tried. Others may have different ideas or suggestions, just my opinion.

There is a guy on here that did a detailed post on insulating the engine and floor area. Try searching.

I ordered Dynamat and the tape from Amazon, plus the small roller. Removed the 4 screws securing the dog house to the floor. Whole job took approx 45 min. Reduced engine noise considerably. I would highly recommend making this mod.
