You would think that they had at least one functioning level somewhere in the factory...

The right side of mine is loaded. Carry some fresh water? Get ready for some leveler scrape. Gees.

I have a 2018 Vegas 24.1 and the vin indicates it's on an E450 chassis , sit's perfectly level and after numerous chassis upgrades handles great.

E350 vs E450

I have a 2016 Thor Axis 24.1 and it came with the E450 chassis. It rides well and I have not added any after market devices to make it handle better. Currently has 36k miles and is holding up very well. I like having the extra 2500 pounds of carrying capacity that the e450 gives me. It weighs about 11,700 pound loaded for travel. The max weight is 14,500 for the E450 vs. 12,000 for the E350.

The Axis/Vegas E-350 is rated 12,500 pounds GVWR. Switching an E-450 Axis/Vegas motorhome that weighs 11,700 pounds loaded to an E-350 chassis would leave over 900 pounds of excess load capacity. Does that math seem correct?

Anyway, that’s pretty good when others here are overloading their rigs by nearly that much.

The left side of the coach now sits nearly 4 inches lower than the right side but was surprised to find it is not the chassis. Either the body is sagging on the mounts or it was just built that crooked. I emailed Thor just asking about it and got no response.

I have 27000 miles on it and drive it like I stole it now since there is no going back!
I have a 2018 26B on the E350 with 30,000 miles. What are the wing walls?
I haven't seen any signs of water damage yet, but it doesn't rain much here so maybe i'll be OK.

I strongly recommend (based on experience) that you scrupulously inspect your roof and all sidewall seams and penetrations every 3 or 4 months. If there is even the slightest weakness you should re seal with an appropriate sealant (not silicone). It’s unusual for me to get through an inspection without having to fix something. Water intrusion is insidious and almost always disastrous. But it’s usually not too hard to avoid if you are diligent. In some ways it’s even more important in sunny, dry climates which are hard on sealants. Mostly though I think the problems are a result of movements associated with driving. Good luck!
