Extension awning

I have a Hurricane 27k 2014 with a wide extension. However when it rains it create a poddle of water over the extension. The rouller appears to have a bow as it is not stiff enough. The awning is tight at both ends but has some slack in the middle caused by the bow in the roller.
When it rains, the poddle fills up of water and when full, it poors rains in front of the door. Plus when I'm retracting the extension, I'm afraid of getting a shower inside the MH due to the amount of water on it.

Is there a fix ?
Do you have the same issue ?
What do you do when it is full of water?

Exclamation

I think you're referring to your Slide awning/topper. Ours is also long and can do the same thing, except that it is on the driver side.

I would suggest added a piece of foam, or blanket, over the door end of the Slide, stuffed in between the top of the slide and the awning. It will probably keep the water from cascading over this end of the awning.

Just remember to remove this when running in the slide!

Question Is this a good idea ?

Looking at the top of the mh, I noticed that there is a rail similar to the one that attach the awning on top of the slide-out, on the mh side not on the slide-out side. It is approximately 3 1/4 inches higher.
I'm wondering if I was to relocate the awning to this new location if this would resolve my problem of water poddle.

The only problem is to find an entry point as there is obstruction at both ends.
Anyone tried to relocate their awning??
