F53 Chassis Brake Controller Port

For future reference, does anyone know if the 2014 F53 chassis (2015 coach) has the brake controller port factory (Ford or Thor) installed?

I know the E450 cutaways have them installed by Ford but I'm not sure about the F53 chassis.

I have a 2015 F53 chassis (crosschecked with Ford to conform) and it has a brake controller port installed by Ford. I just finished installing a brake controller on my 2015 Windsport 27k.

Very suspenseful!

Next question. Where is the connection located?

Mine is located to the right of the emergency brake mount, left of the steering column and about 8 inches off the floor.

My 2014 Miramar 34.2 came with a plastic bag Ty-wrapped to a wiring harness above the parking brake handle. I cut it off and found a FORD wiring harness presumably to hook up a brake assist (?).

I also bought a Windsport 27K just a few months ago. I pulled a travel trailer for 10+ years so know some things but am a big newbie on others. Is the brake controller port for towing or some othe purpose? Thanks!

The brake controller port allows for plugging in a brake controller for use with electric trailer brakes of for a brake assist for towing a car. If one is not installed by the factory then an additional cost of towing is to have the brake controller wired into the coach.
