So we just picked up our new motorhome. It's so exciting. At Camping World, they gave us just one Ford key and no remote. This doesn't seem right. Shouldn't there be a power remote key that comes with it?

A few years ago when I bought my class C (E450 chassis) I received 3 ford keys and 2 remotes. Last year when I bought my class A I received 3 Ford keys. When I bought the class A there was only one hood barrel key and one key for the outside entertainment center. I called Thor and they sent me the replacement keys that were missing.

In your case it sounds like Camping World may have lost the main keys and only had the spare Ford key to give you.

Can I suggest that, as a safety option, you never use the remote on a RV. The contents are too valuable and the remote is way too easy to clone. See this article.
