We've stayed at many WMs over the last few years, and have always put out the bedroom slide. We always ask the manager, and have never been told we couldn't put out the slide. (Including some in Indiana.) The 25.2 has a rear slide, which shouldn't be a concern for passing drivers.
The manager on duty always sends us to the edge of the parking lot, which is where we want to be anyway. And it's good for them, since we always need groceries and supplies.
For years, we relied on a website
Overnight RV Parking ($25 annual subscription) to find places that allow, and avoid those that don't. Now, we use an ap, RVParky to do the same thing, although it's not as comprehensive as the website. They will show you other places that allow, like our personal favorite, Cracker Barrel.
