HDMI Port

We have a 2015 ACE 29.2. Can someone tell me what the HDMI Port located on the center console just below the radio is for? I cannot figure it out.

I don't have an ACE but on my Chateau 31L it is for mirroring a mobile device on the display. Works for me but many have had trouble getting it to work.

Find the model of your radio and download the manual. My radio is an Axxera AV614BH. Here is the link I found on another thread.

Originally I was lead to believe that it was for the outside TV BUT in our Challenger it is solely for a video input to the built-in screen on the Axxera.

I too thought it was for the outside TV, but that did not work. I have not tried it yet, but after everyone's response, I believe it does got to my Axxera.

It does plug into the back of the Radio. You need the correct cable to make it happen...If you don't have the correct cable you can test it by plugging up a DVD player. The cables are identified in the radio manual. My iPad works but the picture sucks. The Android adapter is the 11 pin. I ordered the 5 pin, of course. Good Luck.... the USB there is handy to keep your phone charged using nav. Power comes from the radio which is on house power.
