Yeah, forgot their CEO has each brand/group running separately and competing with each other.
Still, if a 60-inch dinette actually works on an Ace, why not use one in a MH like yours to create space for a much larger bath. Not trying to change subjects, just a little confused by lack of design standardization.
Granted that in the 27.2 there is a larger over-cab bed that could sleep two younger adults, whereas in Axis/Vegas the overcab bed is strictly for one adult. That would mean that if traveling with another couple they could use the over-cab bed in the 27.2, but in an Axis one adult would need to use the dinette -- hence need for it being longer.
It may make sense if looked at broadly enough, but I have a hard time seeing older couples using an over-cab bed regardless of width. Climbing over a person sidewards without disturbing them is a lot tougher than it looks; even for young adults.
So if traveling with parents or older relatives in an Ace 27.2, where do they sleep? On the other hand, for a young family with young kids, the 27.2 looks like a good plan to me.
