How wide with slides extended position?

Hi everyone....we wanted to see how much width to add to our Thor Super C 35Sf when parked? We have the closed dimensions from the spec sheet, but wanted to see what to add for big slide and bedroom slide when open! Our son in Fla has offered to install 50 amp service so we can moochdock in his driveway for Christmas, but our RV is in storage right at the moment! Any and all info or links appreciated! TIA

how wide?

have you considered taking a look at Thor's website for spec details on your particular model? It's possible the measurements are there.

Its unlikely Thor has the "width with slide extended" on the website--they don't have that for any models.

A good guess would be around 2'. Most motorhomes don't go much further than that (at least to the sides). Trailers and 5er's slides can extend a lot further (since you don't ride/walk around in them too much with the slides in like you do in a MH).

Perhaps you could contact the manufacturer of the slide mechanism, and ask them how far they push stuff out!

I allow for 3 feet for main slide (dinette/couch) and 2 feet for bedroom slide... Leaves a little room to spare when pulling up next to a tree, etc...

slide widths vary depending on RV ... we try to allow at least 3' on the slide side for wiggle room .

If it helps...
I just went down, and extended the slide on our Outlaw 29H. (It holds the Dinette area.)
It sticks out 17.75"

I hope that this is useful.

Thanks guys! Between your info and the spec sheet from Thor , we will add 3 1/2 feet to total width to allow parking with slide open! Have a great week!

Not sure there are any real rules for slide widths. On our former DP bedroom slides were about 2 feet each side, kitchen slide was about 27 inches, and the dining room/living room slide was about 3 feet. That made us just under fifteen feet wide with all slides extended. The Gemini, having one slide on the drivers side, about 20 inches, if that, and one in back, adds length, not width, so we take up much less space in sites.
