Hurricane/windysport 29m
Pretty soon yall will have me in a 50' Prevost Outlaw lol. (it was spectacular at 2.2 mil)
So went today and it is REALLY hard to fit 4 peeps.
Not as spacious as on the internet!
My impressions:
With the slide in , not possible to use the couch bed and with slide out blocks aisle to bath. If another on dinette sleeping, all jammed together.
If couch replaced with recliners, how can footrests come out?
Sleeping 4 adults is rough.
Any suggestions forum brains?

Good points. On our list of "must haves" was that we could use the RV with slides in when traveling. We picked our model (the 35C) because of the open floor plan and ability to sleep at least 4 when slides are in (along with access to the bathroom and shower.)

Thanks!
That is really helpful.
I wish I could consider something that big.
Unfortunately, everyone insists on their own sleeping space to stretch out, and I unfortunately insist on 30-31 feet total and manoeuvrability (or rather for manoeuvrability )
These first world choices
Lol they all look bigger on the internet!
Im the driver so I win (is that a win?!)

You never mentioned the overhead bunk. I believe its rated for 500 lbs.
Why would you need to sleep 4 WITH the slide in???
With the sofa bed opened yes it blocks the hallway to bathroom but whos going to be walking from the otherside, cockpit area, that needs to go that way.
Sofa bed should only be open when it's time for sleep other wise its closed.
Yes its tight with 4 but it can easily be done

Also with slide in, the recliner closest to drivers seat can open but not fully. The other can open but not as much as the other. If the person using the recliner is tall they way be able to use the dinette seat as a foot rest.
Ill go check that out on mine a little later and let you know. Maybe take a pic or two for you
Compromises have to be made with 4.

Thanks!
(Hahaha windy sport y'all caught that I threw!)
Yep even on the realm/prevost (2mil) is a challenge for 4 to just pull over and sleep
without slide out
Or even sleep in general
Peeps I travel have typical less but more frequent
So yeah everyone needs access to bath
Wow I see some back bath units always think ughhh formy group
Thanks halfprice
If I replace and footrests not useable with slide in I may haft rethink
Again

Jerry makes a good point, the overhead bunk should be rated for 500 lbs. and should sleep two (if not one there and another at the dinette.) Our model also came with recliners but they don't open fully when the slide is not extended. If they were out for any reason they would block access to the bathroom from the front. Therefore we don't count them as sleeping space.
Of course, they don't make our model/floorplan anymore. There are some smaller versions that do not have the rear bath, maybe one of those will meet your requirements? We wanted the extra space and storage as we are full timers who live in it all year long.

If you don't want to extend the slides for a quick stopover: just pull into any Motel parking lot, and ask your fellow travelers:
"Which of you are willing to spend some money, in order to have a more comfortable bed?"
That'll sort out the adventurous and cheap travelers: from the Motel-sleepers!

Hahahha everyone
I've pretty much discounted the upper 500# drop down bed for everyone over 23.5 lol
So I'm not 'actually' counting it as sleeping space

Why would you not count the overhead bunk. At 6'4" 230 ive climbed up there and had plenty of room.
Now the matress or i should say the slightly padded piece of material sucks so i just bought a 2" foam topper to put on top of it.
We normally travel by ourselves but a friend is joining us on a trip later this year. So to be nice i ourchased the topper

If your friends are in the over bunk then the sofabed wouldnt be needed. The hallway would be clear to walk on

Just a suggestion for the next time you ask a question. Please give us all the needed info to help you.
With 2 disabled and it appears no is sharing a bed you may need a different mh
The only one that would have a problem getting to the bathroom would be you in the overhead bunk. I would say open the door and find i tree

My bad sorry but there really are no permanent answers if the requirements for me as the driver are stay ~30-31 feet.
How I will not disturb and get out at 2 am that's the question?
but really sorry. I thought the anyone under 23.5 yo comment need not apply to the bunkhouse covered it.
These peeps do NOT HAVE to have but makes easier. Compromise is not a word that was learned by my peeps lol.
Was truly not a setup. and THANKS, truly. It did make me feel better about decision. The 29m still my top choice. Just nothin else out there.
I wonder if I could convert an ambulance?

29m is great. We love ours. Great floor plan and works great for us. You have a unique situation. It might be tough but if everyone is reasonable you can work it out
