Newbie question
2015 ACE 27.?
The fan continues to run that is behind the electrical panel below where you sit to eat, any reason for it to run non stop? Weather is cool so heating not an issue. Just started today, Any ideas?

That's the fan for the converter. If you are plugged in running lights and charging batteries it is normal to run.

Not sure on your model - however could either be the fan in the inverter itself, or a fan in the compartment with the inverter. If you are on shoer power, there is no need for the inverter to be on unless it is a unit that also houses the charger. for some reason......

Some units have a fan that removes hot air out of the compartment. Looks like a fan on a computer. Connected to the fan is a Thermoswitch that will turn the fan on and off depending on the temperature of the compartment. We had Thor replaced ours 2 times because the darn thing would get stuck in the on position sometimes. If this is what you have, you can disconnect it from the two wires and place the Thermoswitch in the freezer for about 15 minutes. When you connect it back up, if the fan stays off then the switch is faulty.

WFCO converter's fan work, not on a thermostat, but on the current supplied. So if the charger is supplying 12 volts to appliances or to well discharged batteries, it will run continually. When there is only a small current draw, then the fan will run only occasionally. PDI converters do use a thermostatically switched fan.

It's the fan to your inverter. When I was plugged in I just push the disconnect the battery switch and it shuts it off doesn't affect anything.
