Lynx Levelers. And be certain to get a copy of JamieGeek's manual. Excellent resource.

Here's the link to the manual I compiled. You can download it in MS Word format, or go to the menu and download it in PDF format.

should have added this alot sooner. You can see M&B at Quartzsite every January for folks out west. I got the automatic system because it has the lest problems. The others listed on bigfoot site are newer versions. Major (his first name) of M&B was USAF retired and I got a discount beyond the Quartzsite one as a former USAF Vet back when the guns were muzzle loaders $3800. Took two days for installation and we visited the local Yuma area including Algodones Mexico (very safe place)
Two weekends ago was at brothers and he has a driveway which slopes down alot (extreme case). Used five blocks on each front jack - worked great. I level the vehicle each time its parked next to my house which slopes down also but no blocks are needed. Brother's is only place I've had to use blocks.

[QUOTE=TyCreek;26118]I first leveled the RV using the refrigerator as my reference. Lucky it was installed square with the rest of the coach because all counters and floors were also level. Then I put one level on the flat open part of the dash panel and one just under the window.
These have marks so you can see pretty precisely the level state.[/QUOTE
Great job, I like it and will do the same Thank You!

Wdenney -- when I retired from the AF in 2005 I was on air staff. I was the AF/ILMW Chief of Conventional & Nuclear Weapons. Had also served as 2BW Logistics Group Commander and had been Squadron Commander of the Maintenance Squadron at Castle AFB CA.
... and as you know, we were always waiting on the loaders. IYAAYAS!!!!

We've had our 2015 Vegas 24.1 since Aug 2015. I have 2 bags of Lynx-Levelers. We've camped about 120 days since buying the RV and have 9200 miles on the RV. We have camped in about 25 parks.
The sites we have had were level enough that I have never taken a leveling block out of the bag. The Vegas sits slightly nose down; however, an out of level condition has never affected the operation of the refrigerator.

If I had a class B or C where ingress and egress was via the driver door, it would be different.

nice list of options GBrown! Kickdown levelers seem pricey for me but love all the other suggestions...thanks!

I agree with Ed. We have had a Vegas and Axis for three years (35,000 miles) trips to Alaska, Nova Scotia, Colorado etc. and have never used the levelers. Glad to have them, but not one of my "necessary" items.

I have the HWH Kick-down automatic levelers. I love it. After a 5 hr drive yesterday, all I had to do was press a button. Since I travel alone, I don't have to get in and out of the rig to check level and drive up and down leveling blocks.

We had a leveling system installed after purchasing RV at Quartzsite a few weeks later - a big foot leveling system. Scheduled installation a few weeks later Spent two days at the east side of Yuma (five hours drive from home) We visted Yuma and Mexico with toad. (Major was vendor we purchased from and he sold and installed unit - we see him every year at Quartzsite). I purchased the fully auto one since it is the oldest and the least problems per Major. We stayed in an RV garage at his house with full hook ups. Full price was under $4k. Only problem I have had totally my fault - I cut one of the hydraulic hoses doing a mod to sewer value. Big foot sent me the parts overnight - easy to replace. No other problems and the system works great. System is two years old next month.
Never been to a space that I could not get it level and some RV park spaces are way off

Dino are you really thinking of downsizing from your Windsport especially after all that work.

Note that the first post was two years ago. I think they purchased the Windsport instead of the Vegas.

I have a 2017-Vegas 24.1
I recently installed the HWH straight acting, telescoping, power extend, spring retract jacks
They are controlled by the 225 series Joystick controlled system
Its mounted against the driver's wall, behind the cup-holder area.
I paid $3K for the unit + $1,500 install.
I decided to go with this unit verses the Kick-down jacks + automated system due to the extra cost.
I saved about $1000-1500.
I'm very pleased with the system.

Good to know.
I purchased the Big Foot system for my Axis. I just installed it. It was a major job for a weekend mechanic to do all by himself. It took me about 5 days (2.5 weekends) to complete - by myself (but I took my time and now I know the system very well).
But if they told me $800 to $1000 to install I think I would just pay it and save my time (I could have done without bruise/cuts/sore muscle this system gave me - lol).
At $1500 I might still tackle it myself....I like to save money when I can.
